Around fifty students from member establishments of the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) in Cambodia visited the “Confirel Discovery Park” in Kep on Saturday, December 9.
This visit was part of the entrepreneurship training program set up by the AUF.
The objective of the visit was to give these students an approach to production chain management, product sales/export and general business management.
Guided by Dr Hay Ly Eang, founder and president of Confirel, the students walked for a little over two hours the paths of this park which is both an organic plantation – where Kampot pepper and fruit trees, aromatic plants are grown -, a space of biodiversity and a site with a recreational and educational vocation.
Dr Hay Ly Eang in particular gave them the broad outlines of the principles of the circular economy on which the operation of this model farm is based.
